A body was found and identified in Center Hill Lake near the Hickey Boat Ramp in Putnam County Wednesday.
Sheriff Eddie Farris said TWRA agents were on a training mission on the lake when they discovered the body of 40-year-old Spencer Harville floating in the water. He said upon the discovery, the agents immediately called the Putnam County Sheriff’s office. He based on preliminary investigation, it does not appear the body had been in the water for a long period of time.
“We do know that particular person has had some medical issues,” Farris said. “So it doesn’t initially appear as though we’re a dealing with something that’s violent in nature.”
Farris said Harville’s vehicle was found and identified near the boat ramp. He said they are awaiting autopsy results from the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department asks that anyone who has had contact with Harville over the last several days to contact Lieutenant Brandon Tayes at 931-528-8484.
