Baxter Getting New Grocery Opportunities Through Dollar General, Family Dollar Markets

Baxter is in discussion with a large chain grocery store to bring a location to town.

Mayor John Martin provided the update at Baxter’s Board of Aldermen meeting Thursday, but did not name the chain. If conversations continue, the grocery store would join two new markets approved for town, including the Dollar General Market and the Family Dollar Market.
