Authorities Arrest Six on Drug Charges in White County

Local law enforcement agencies and U.S. Marshals recently arrested six people in White County on drug and weapons charges.

White County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Thursday Clinton Staggs, Alyssa Beth Savage, Jennifer Lynn Hixson, and MaKenzi Jade Delaney all face charges for simple possession, drug paraphernalia, an felonious possession of a firearm.

Joe Kyle Murphy was identified as a wanted fugitive out of Georgia and faces similar charges. Another unidentified subject was extradited to Jackson County for questioning involving an attempted homicide case

The White County Sheriff’s Office released a statement Wednesday saying officials seized eight ounces of methamphetamine during the arrests on Jan. 25.

The Sheriff’s Office also seized drug paraphernalia, two vehicles, and several firearms during their investigation.

Sheriff Steve Page thanked the U.S. Marshals and other area agencies in the statement for their efforts in helping make the arrests.
