Algood Paving Project To Begin After July 1st

A project to pave Algood’s Main Street won’t begin until after July 1st. City Administrator Keith Morrison said the city has started working on the bid packet for that project, which will pave Main Street at Walmart out to Sonic and then to Burton Branch Road. A two vehicle crash in Putnam County injured two children and four adults Saturday. The head-on collision happened around 1:45 p.m. on State Route 136 at Waterloo Road.
