Tech Enrollment Over 10K; Freshman Class, Transfer Students Increase

Tennessee Tech student enrollment has exceeded 10,000 students for the first time in three years, an increase of some 200 students from last year. Total enrollment stands at some 10,117 approaching the fourth week of the fall semester. Cumberland Sheriffs Department Investigation Death Of Two Sunday

The Cumberland County Sheriffs Department investigating the death of two Cumberland County residents Sunday afternoon. 56-year old Tamara Clark and 54-year old Del Clark were found in a residence on Deep Draw Road, in the eastern section of the county. Crossville’s Highway 1 Will Be Closed As Bridge Demolition Begins Monday

T-DOT will close a portion of State Route 1 through Crossville for a 13-month span beginning Monday morning. Contractors will demolish the old bridge over the Obed River, completing a new bridge by next November. Northside Drive will be used as a detour during the time period. Upperman Work Slows Because Of Brick, Finish Date Delayed Til End Of Year

Work has slowed on the Upperman High School expansion project because of brick.
