$14 Million In Funding For UC Cities And Counties

Governor Bill Lee’s plan to get money into the hands of county and city governments statewide will mean about $14 million for Upper Cumberland cities and counties. Monterey Will Reopen 3 Facilities Thursday

Monterey will reopen Meadow Creek Park, Bee Rock, and the City Walking Trail Thursday. Mayor Bill Wiggins said the moves follow Governor Lee’s decision to lift the statewide at-home order. Putnam County Commissioners approved the addition of a 1,000 square foot meeting room to the animal shelter. The room will be built adjacent to the current shelter, connected by a covered walkway. The Livingston City Council voted Monday night to move forward with the June city election as scheduled.
