Man Killed In Smithville After Gunfire Exchange

A McMinnville man died Thursday night after exchanging gunfire with Dekalb County and Smithville law enforcement. 28-year-old Gregorio Cruz Vanloo died after being transported to St. Thomas Dekalb Hospital. A McMinnville man arrested after an Electronic Service Provider reported the man possessed child sexual abuse material. 30-year-old Travis Alan Young charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.
