Tennessee Reports Increase in Elder Financial Exploitation

The Tennessee Comptroller’s Office reports an 87 percent increase in the financial exploitation of the elderly over the last four years. Maintenance Work for Cookeville Water Tank

The concrete water tank on Pilot Knob is getting repairs completed. Cookeville Water and Sewer Director Ronnie Kelly said the work will address concrete chipping around the bottom edge. Baxter Sets Fees to Use Amphitheater

Baxter has set a fee schedule for use of its new amphitheater. Renting the amphitheater will cost $200 for the first four hours, and $50 for each additional hour. The 29th annual Allardt Great Pumpkin Festival will be happening on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
