Tech Could Receive $110 Million Under Governor’s Budget

Tennessee Tech could receive $110 million in funding. The amount comes from Governor Bill Lee’s proposed 2020-2021 budget. The budget includes $64 million for Tech’s annual appropriation, and $48 million in capital appropriations. Homeless Man Arrested For Violating Sex Offender Registry

A homeless man was arrested in Crossville Tuesday for violating the Sex Offender Registry. 54-year-old Andy Phillips was found within 1000 feet of the Cumberland County High School. According to the police report, Phillps had been staying at a Justice Street residence without reporting to his sex offender registry. The arresting officer approached Phillips at the residence.
