Livingston will not open the city pool this summer and will instead use the next several months to repair the pool. Monterey’s Water and Sewer Committee will recommend and present a water rate increase to the Board of Mayor and Alderman at Monday night’s meeting. Three Arrested After High Speed Chase Thursday Night

Three suspects arrested Thursday night after a high-speed pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended on Monterey’s Highway 70 North. Monterey Police Chief Bill Randolph said the vehicle drove through two spike strips before being stopped.
