Cookeville First United Methodist Church received a $4,000 grant from Second Harvest to provide food for local residents. On June 26th at 9:30 a.m., a mobile food pantry will deliver a truck load of food to the church. Cookeville Mayor Ricky Shelton Appointed To Tennessee Homeland Security Council

Gov. Bill Lee appointed Cookeville Mayor Ricky Shelton to the Tennessee Homeland Security Council. Shelton was one of three new members appointed to the council. Cumberland River’s First Month A Success

One month in to the reopening of Celina’s Cumberland River Hospital, Owner Johnny Presley said he is proud of the operation so far. The clinic has averaged around 25 to 50 patients a day.
