Vol State Community College officials said they’re not affected by the newly-reinstated travel ban.
Spokesman Eric Melcher said students from 20 countries study at Vol State’s various campuses. None of those students come from Somalia, Iran, Yemen, Sudan, Syria or Libya.
The U.S. Supreme Court allowed President Trump’s travel ban to be temporarily reinstated. Individuals from those six countries can only enter the United States if they have a relationship with a person or group, such as students accepted to American universities or employees of American businesses.
