Warren County District Attorney Chris Stanford’s office will investigate the death of a woman in Fentress County, allegedly at the hands of her husband.
Amber Wilson found in the back of a jeep. An autopsy on the victim revealed that she died of blunt force trauma and it was determined that she was hit by a damaged Ford Explorer. Wilson’s husband, Nathan Allen Wilson, admitted to hitting his wife with a vehicle.
Fentress County law enforcement officials in responded to a 911 call from the alleged perpetrator and his brother making self-harm statements. Wilson admitted to hitting his wife with a vehicle during the investigation.
Wilson has been charged in Warren County with criminal homicide, tampering with evidence, and abuse of a corpse. Wilson is currently awaiting transport to Warren County from Fentress County.
