Power out to a large portion of Livingston and Overton County served by Upper Cumberland Electric as of Wednesday morning.
TVA contractors working at the Livingston substation Wednesday morning accidently brought down some of the UCEMC lines. Crews are working now to get the lines backup and power restored.
A UCEMC Spokesperson said the power should be restored in around one hour. Original estimates were the outage could last two to four hours.
Residents are reminded not to call 911 to report a power outage at any time. Power company officials are also aware of the situation.
