Putnam Election Commission Takes First Step To Make Voting Numbers Official

The Putnam County Election Commission took the first step in authenticating voting results Thursday.

Election Administrator Michelle Honeycutt said voting totals recorded on tally tapes were reviewed by members. Honeycutt said the data from the precincts were compared to the printed results at the election office.

Honeycutt said everything balanced out. Honeycutt said the final voting numbers are set to be certified by the Commission on Wednesday.
