The Putnam County Election Commission took the first step in authenticating voting results Thursday. Election Administrator Michelle Honeycutt said voting totals recorded on tally tapes were reviewed by members. Algood Inside Precinct voters will need to vote at Algood Middle School on Election Day this Tuesday. Putnam Election Commission Counts Nearly 12,000 Voters

The Putnam County Election Commission reported a 26 percent voter turnout for the August 6 election. That’s an increase of 14 percent over August 2016.
