April 20 Cookeville City Court Cases Held At CPAC

Anyone with a Cookeville City Court case scheduled for April 20 at 9:00 AM will need to be at CPAC for their hearing.

Cookeville City Judge David Ledbetter said this is simply due to a large number of cases being set for this docket during the pandemic, resulting in a venue change.

Residents can still reach out to the city clerk’s office to avoid appearing in court. Those reasons include: paying a traffic ticket in advance, making driving school arrangements or requesting a continuance.

If a resident fails to address their ticket or misses their court appearance on April 20 it could result in a suspension of your driver’s license. People are being encouraged to reach out to the Cookeville City Clerk by phone or email if they have questions or want to take action on their court date.

Due to the large number of people expected to be in attendance, attendees will be required to comply with social distancing guidelines. That will include wearing a mask, distanced seating, staggered entrance times and limited in-person contact.

This is a noticed for all Cookeville City Court cases scheduled for April 20 at 9:00 AM. Cases will be heard at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center.

Anyone with an upcoming city court date can reach out to the clerk’s office at (931) 520-5254 or at chix@cookeville-tn.gov by email.
