Monterey Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying individuals involved in a Saturday night shooting.
It happened in the 800 block of Jackson Avenue around 8pm. Several males were working on vehicles when an SUV-type vehicle pulled up. A male jumped out of the silver vehicle and ran toward the men. He fired several shots from a .45 caliber handgun. The man jumped back into the vehicle and sped off toward Industrial Drive.
No one was injured. However, investigating officers found numerous rounds into the front of the apartment building.
