This Week: Livingston Updates Use Of Force Policy

Livingston Board of Alderman will consider updating the use of force policy for the city police department Monday night.

The board will also receive updates on its Downtown Revitalization program during its Monday meeting. That program has several projects going on including the reinstallation of sidewalks and work on the square. The meeting begins at 6. A public hearing begins at 5:50pm.

A recessed Gainesboro Board of Alderman meeting will resume Monday night to hear the second reading on its tiny house ordinance. After residents voiced concerns about the parameters, the board will consider increasing the square footage of banned houses in the historical district to about 900 feet.

The Monterey Aldermen will consider Halloween plans as well as the roof of the depot among agenda topics Monday. The meeting begins at 7pm at City Hall.

Tuesday, the Crossville City Council will conduct a work session to review a lease with a local dermatologist for public parking. Also, plans for a disc golf course at Meadow Park Lake will be discussed. The work session begins at 5:00pm.

Overton Director of Schools Mark Winningham’s contract will be reviewed during the school board’s Tuesday meeting. Two new members joined in August and requested the evaluation. Meeting time set for 5:30pm Tuesday.
