Take The CityScape Survey

Cookeville residents can express their desires for the downtown area by participating in CityScape’s new survey.

Executive Director Laura Wolf said it’s the first time the organization has provided this kind of input.

“One of the initiatives of this survey is just to find out, confidentially, what are great things going on in Cookeville? What are things you want to see change? There’s all kinds of just very generic questions, it took me five minutes to answer them,” Wolf said.

The survey is part of the Tennessee Main Street Association. Wolf said the program is a “touch base” way to understand the community’s wants.

She said the information gathered will help see how Putnam compares to other counties.

“You know, Putnam County, we’re a little bit rare in that our downtown is prospering so well and accepting and maintaining the historic value of the buildings from the time they were first built,” Wolf said.

The deadline to complete the survey is February 2. To let your voice be heard, click the link.
