A Cookeville dentist office will provide free dental services February 7.
John’s Family & Implant Dentistry will provide one free cleaning, filling, or extraction.
Practice Manager Angie Coffman said this is the 24th year the office has participated in Free Dentistry Day.
“The doctors feel very strongly about local businesses giving back to the community that they serve,” Coffman said. “We just want to make sure that everybody has the opportunity to get the dental care that they need and deserve.”
Services will be provided at a first come first serve basis. The doors will open at 7 a.m.
Coffman said if they reach full capacity they’re happy to refer patients to another office that’s partnering with them.
“Basically dental care, there’s so many studies coming about that it does affect more than just your teeth, it affects your body. So we want to make sure that we can help as many people with a service that they wouldn’t normally get,” Coffman said.
Hintz & Oakley Family Dentistry and Hometown Family Dentistry will team up with John’s Family Dentistry.
