A two-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Crossville woman and injured two other people Wednesday.
The Crossville Police Department released an accident report Thursday that identified the deceased as 66-year-old Brenda Norris.
The crash happened at the intersection of Dunbar Road and Lantana Road.
Officials said 56-year-old Jeffrey David Newsome of Crossville was turning left when his PT Cruiser pulled into the path of a Ford F-250, driven by 58-year-old Gregory Keith Frazier of Crossville.
The report said the truck struck Newsome’s Cruiser on the passenger side. Newsome suffered injuries and received treatment at Cumberland River Hospital.
Police identified Norris as a passenger inside the PT Cruiser. A helicopter airlifted a third passenger inside the cruiser, identified as 25-year-old Brandon Norris of Crossville, to U.T. Medical Center for treatment.
Frazier did not suffer any injuries.
