A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Cookeville woman Monday afternoon.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased as 20-year-old Hope Long.
The accident happened at 4:20 p.m. in the westbound Lanes of Pippin Road.
A crash report said Long’s 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer traveled off the right side of the roadway, rolled to a final rest, and landed upright.
The impact ejected Long from the vehicle. The report said she succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
Long was not wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.
