Putnam County Building Permits Down Slightly

Putnam County saw a slight decrease in the number of building permits it issued last month.

The county issued 26 permits for $3.65 million. New single-family residential homes accounted for 14 of the 26-permits and totaled $3.23 million.

By comparison, the county issued 28-building permits in July and August.

Putnam County has issued 82-permits this year with an estimated construction cost of $11.79 million.
