A single-vehicle crash in Smith County injured a Lebanon man on Saturday.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 59-year-old Freddy Warrick was traveling East on Grant Highway when the accident occurred. A crash report said his Nissan Frontier ran off the right side of the road, re-entered the roadway, and crossed the center line before traveling off the left side of the road.
Warrick suffered serious injuries when the vehicle went through a barbed wire fence and struck a tree. Officials said a helicopter airlifted Warrick to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment.
State Troopers said charged are pending and Warrick was not wearing a seat belt.
