A Mt. Juliet man faces charges after a high speed chase in Putnam County Friday morning.
Authorities charged 20-year-old Jaden T. White with reckless endangerment and evading arrest.
The incident began when a Cookeville Police Officer clocked White’s vehicle going 102 mph at the 283 mile marker of Interstate 40.
An arrest report said White refused to stop and proceeded to the 286 exit at a high rate of speed before turning South on Burgess Falls Road. The officer pursued the vehicle to the Moss Road Intersection where he located another vehicle that ran off the road to avoid the fleeing driver.
The officer arrested White after his vehicle came to a stop at the Samaria Church Of Christ.
