Three Facing Federal Charges After Carthage Bank Robbery

Three people from Gallatin face federal charges for allegedly robbing a bank in Carthage Tuesday.

Authorities arrested 28-year-old David Reynolds, 22-year-old Joe Betty, and 27-year-old Tiffany Garcia following an Interstate 40 pursuit.

The incident happened at the Citizen’s Bank on Dixon Springs Highway.

According to the complaint, one of the individuals handed the teller a note demanding $15,000. A press release said the robbers took $65,000 from the bank vault before leaving in a Chevrolet Impala.

Multiple law enforcement officers became involved in a pursuit when the suspects fled from the bank. Authorities arrested all three individuals after the vehicle came to a stop on Interstate 40 near Lebanon.
