A Cookeville man landed behind bars this week for allegedly walking naked down Bryant Ridge Road.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office charged 57-year-old John Beasley with indecent exposure, public intoxication, and possession of a handgun while intoxicated.
Authorities responded to the location after receiving reports about a naked man walking down the street with a gun. A police report accused Beasley of being under the influence of narcotics at the time of the incident.
Deputies arrested Beasley and booked him into the Putnam County Jail on $1,248 bond.
