A Cookeville woman allegedly busted out the window of a Tennessee Highway Patrol vehicle on Sunday.
State Troopers charged Myra J. Shipley with vandalism and evading arrest.
Authorities came in contact with the 48-year-old Shipley during a traffic stop for speeding and running a red light at the intersection of Willow and 7th Street.
An arrest report said troopers secured the defendant in the patrol car with handcuffs. She allegedly broke the window with the handcuffs and proceeded to crawl out of the car.
The warrant said Shipley sustained cuts and scrapes to her arms and hands as well as a head laceration from landing outside the vehicle. She received medical treatment at Cookeville Regional Medical Center following the incident.
