Crossville Two-Year-Old Found Alone In Middle Of Street

A couple from Crossville face charges after police officers found their two-year-old child playing in the middle of a street.

Dylan Kelly and Jennifer DeYoung appeared in court Thursday for charges of child abuse, neglect, and endangerment.

The incident happened Monday when officers found the boy in the middle of the street across from city hall. A police report said the child wondered away from the Village Inn apartments after Kelly and DeYoung fell asleep.

Kelly faces additional charges for an outstanding warrant charging him with probation violation.
