A Hedersonville woman has died after crashing her vehicle in Trousdale County Sunday afternoon.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officials said 24-year-old Kandess E. Turner died at a hospital Monday. The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 25 West and Highway 231 South.
A THP crash report said a tractor trailer had stopped in the southbound lane of the intersection as Turner traveled westbound at a high rate of speed. The report said Turner’s vehicle drove under the trailer after going into a yaw and traveling onto Highway 231.
Turner was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The driver of the tractor trailer did not suffer any injuries.
