Baxter Citizens Anticipate Grand Opening of T-Mart

Baxter citizens are anticipating the grand opening of a new business coming later this month.

Mayor John Martin said the new T-Mart convenience store and Papa John’s will give more opportunity for city residents.

“We are just so happy that T-Mart has come to Baxter. Most of the people in Baxter have asked every day when Papa John’s is going to open,” Martin said. “They have a Papa John’s and a Chester’s Chicken inside the T-Mart. It is going to be really good revenue for Baxter.”

Martin said Baxter may see more business following the grand opening of the T-Mart.

“I think it will [bring business],” Martin said. “We have calls virtually every day of people that are wanting to talk to us about businesses and homes and everything else.”

Martin said Baxter will also celebrate the grand opening of the NAPA store in the coming months.

“We’ve got a NAPA store that has already done a soft opening,” Martin said. “And we are looking forward to having a grand opening with them as soon as they get really established.”

The grand opening of the T-Mart will take place on March 28.
