A 24-year-old Sparta woman suffered head injuries following a one-vehicle crash in Cookeville Friday morning.
Emergency services airlifted Latasha Cullum to Vanderbilt University Hospital for treatment.
Cookeville Police will continue investigating a single vehicle crash that injured one.
At 3:40 AM, Cookeville officers arrived at the crash located near the Putnam County Fair Grounds on East Veterans Drive.
A press release indicates that officers saw a black 2010 Chevrolet Camaro overturned on the side of the roadway.
Initial investigation reveals that the vehicle was traveling eastbound before leaving the roadway, striking a metal utility pole and overturning.
The second occupant 29-year-old James Nixon of Cookeville was uninjured.
