The Algood Fire Hall project should see finalization by the end of January.

“Heat and air units are in, electrical is in. Doors and controls are in. They are working on the drop ceiling grids and basic finalization of the project.” Morrison said. “So hopefully, and we will have a punch list before the end of the month and we will be able to finalize the punch list and give you a completed project.”
Morrison said the crews must create a punch list of work not conforming to contract specifications before final payment.
“It is nearing its initial punch list for finalization of the project,” Morrison said. “We are expecting that this month.”
The Fire Hall project adds three double bays along with a new training space. EMS will also have the ability to run a 24-hour ambulance service out of the facility.
