A Cookeville woman faces a charge of assault after throwing a punch at a neighbor.
A neighbor asked Michelle Reagan, 33, to not park in the two spots at the apartment complex of 186 East 17th Street as they were expecting company and asked Reagan to move her car.
According to the arrest warrant, Reagan then became aggressive and hit the neighbor in the right eye before the neighbor threw a punch in defense. After the altercation, the neighbor called police.
The arrest warrant indicates the victim’s sibling recorded the incident on video when it happened on Sept. 15. Authorities served a summons to Reagan yesterday. She is slated to appear in court Oct. 29.
