Mcminnville Man Faces Violation of Sex Offender Restrictions

A Mcminnville man faces multiple charges, including contributing to a delinquency of a minor and violation of sex offender residential and work restrictions.

Jarrod L Keating, 19, allegedly picked up a fourteen-year-old female from an Algood parking lot on Sunday.

According to the report, Keating then transported the runaway minor to Mcminnville.

Authorities originally charged Keating with sexual battery in 2016. The charge placed Keating under sex offender restrictions.

In 2017,  authorities also charged Keating with two counts of sexual battery in violation of the sex offender registry.

Keating will make an initial appearance on Monday.

Putnam County is holding Keating under an 11 thousand dollar bond.
