Investigation Leads to Arrest in White County Homicide

A joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the office of the 13th District Attorney General and White County Sheriff’s Department lead to the arrest of a woman in the case of her husband’s death.

Mark Twain Hensley, 54, was found dead inside his home on Plum Creek Road in Sparta. Sunday morning TBI agents joined the investigation of  Hensley.

According to TBI, investigators developed evidence pointing to Hensley’s wife Patsy Hensley, 56.

Authorities arrested Patsy Hensley Sunday evening with one account of First Degree Murder.

Patsy Hensley has been booked into the White County Jail with a 750 thousand dollar bond.
