The Cookeville Department of Water Quality Control will close North Washington Avenue Northbound to one lane on Wednesday, May 30.
The closure affects drivers from Broad Street to Boyd Street.
Utility work will take place around 8:00 AM. The department anticipates work to end by 10:00 AM.
Drivers should follow signage and yield to workers.
