TDOT Suspends Lane Closures

TDOT suspended all construction-related lane closures noon today.

Suspending lane closures allows for maximum road-capacity during Memorial Day weekend.

According to TDOT, approximately 727 thousand Tennesseans will drive to their Memorial Day travel destinations this year.

Drivers may still encounter long-term construction closures across Tennessee. Motorists should be aware of speed limit changes through these zones.

The closures will continue until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 29.
