White County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division arrested thirty-one individuals during a large-scale drug bust Wednesday, May 9.
Charges against the detained individuals include various drug charges and theft of property.
Multiple Upper Cumberland agencies assisted in the arrests, including the Tennessee National Guard Counterdrug Taskforce and Tennessee Highway Patrol. The bust started at 6:00 AM at the National Guard Armory.
Among the thirty-one arrested individuals, Cheyene Mabe, 25, is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession/Manufacturing/Sell/Delivery of Sch II Meth, and Simple Possession. Investigators found Mabe with ten grams of crystalline meth and additional items associated with drug sales.
A stolen .22 rifle was uncovered at an arrest site. Alex Rogers, 33, is charged with Theft of Property.
White County Sheriff’s Office said this does not conclude the round-up and more arrests are to be made.
