A 39th victim of COVID-19 died this weekend at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
CRMC Director Of Public Relations Melahn Finley reports 23 positive COVID patients being treated at the medical center. That number has remained fairly steady over the last three months.
Putnam County’s case tally has grown in the days since Labor Day. Over the last 14 days, the county rate stood at 46.7 new cases per day. That number had fallen to 27 cases in the 14-day period starting August 31. The positivity rate stands at 16 percent.
