School Director John Bush said the goal is to continue the upward trajectory and positive growth of students’ scores. The program is called Pareto Analysis
“Students will take a pretest and it will actually tell them,’ You’re proficient with these standards, and here are the ACT standards that you need additional supports on,'” Bush said. “And then it has an online tutorial program and modules.”
Bush said they plan to fold the program into its remediation and ACT boot camp. He said it will be implemented next year.
The school demonstrated the highest growth in the percentage of students meeting the overall ACT composite benchmark of 21 with a 13 percentage point increase from 2021. Bush said there are plans to continue that positive growth.
“That is our goal, we’re never satisfied we always want to have a growth mindset wherever we are,” Bush said. “How can we reflect on what we’ve done and refine our practices?”
