A two-car crash on South Willow Avenue sent a Baxter woman to the hospital with undisclosed injuries Wednesday.
According to Cookeville Police, 60-year-old James Coulson, of Cookeville, was stopped in the left northbound lane in a 2006 Honda Element near the Stevens Street intersection.
Coulson’s vehicle was then struck by a 1999 Cadillac driven by 37-year-old Rhonda Williams when she failed to stop. Williams was then transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center for treatment. No word on her current condition.
Williams was issued a citation for driving on a suspended license. Coulson was uninjured in the accident. Cookeville Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
