A White County woman pleaded guilty to drug and child abuse charges Wednesday.
Janell Frazier was sentenced to 16 years in prison on a charge of selling meth and attempted aggravated child abuse.
A written statement from District Attorney General Bryant Dunaway said Frazier sold meth to a confidential informant in her home with her 11-month-old child present. Law enforcement and child protective services removed the child. A hair follicle test showed the child tested positive for methamphetamine.
The investigation was conducted by the White County Sheriff’s Department.
