Tennessee State Rep. John Mark Windle took his concerns about healthcare straight to the top.
Windle wrote a letter to President Donald Trump Monday. He encouraged the president to work with Gov. Bill Haslam to find a “common sense solution for health care in Tennessee.” Windle points out the Volunteer State has been successful in managing private healthcare, but some Tennesseans can’t wait for Congress to find a healthcare solution. Eight rural hospitals have closed in Tennessee since 2010, he wrote.
Over the weekend, the White House said Trump intended to release an executive order regarding healthcare early this week.
