The White County Executive’s Office has created a new anti-litter campaign through a county-wide video contest.
Executive Assistant Broke Luna said submissions will be accepted until June 3rd.
“They will tell us how littering affects them and affects all of us as White County citizens and the best ways that they think will help keep White County beautiful and anything they would like to add about anti-littering,” Luna said.
Luna said the executive staff got the idea after attending an annual litter training earlier this year. Luna said the goal is to get the community involved to fight a growing litter problem in the county.
Submissions must be 1-4 minutes long. Luna said the county partnered with local businesses to award the top three videos. The videos with the most likes on social media will be announced the winner.
