White Co. Sheriff’s Office Identifies Body Found In Webbs Camp Area

White County Sheriff’s Department recovered a body near the lake in the Webbs Camp area.

Sheriff Steve Page said Deputies discovered a 66-year-old deceased male, identified as Stephen Hitchcock.

Page said at this time they believe Hitchcock fell off the bank and into the water in the middle of the night where he drowned.

No foul play is suspected. However, the incident remains under investigation at this time.
