White Co Library Offering Easter Egg Hunts At Your Home

The White County Library bringing Easter egg hunts right to your home through its ongoing fundraiser.

Now until April 13th White County residents can hire library workers to be the Easter Bunny for you. Library Director Cathy Farley said on the night before Easter, her staff will scatter candy and trinket filled eggs for your family to find Easter morning.

“We come out to your yard in the middle of the night Saturday night before Easter and hide those egss so your children wake up to a wonderful surprise from the Easter bunny,” Farley said.

Farley said the library has three packages to pick from: $20 for 25 eggs, $30 for 35 eggs and $40 for 50 eggs. Farley said the library will work closely with families and can schedule times that best fit a home. Farley said you can also make requests based on allergies.

Last year, almost 50 homes participated in the event. Farley said every dollar from the event goes to the library’s summer reading program. Farley said the program welcomes people of all ages.
