White Co. Commission New Chairman Stanley Neal

The White County Commission has a new chairman in Stanley Neal.

This is Neal’s third term serving as chairman and his seventh year on the commission representing district 12. Neal said he looks forward to contributing to the development of the county.

“We have done a lot in the past several years,” Neal said. “And I would just like to see us move forward with industry and more growth in the county.”

Neal said helping establish White County’s Hormann Plant is one of his greatest contributions.

“Our new company out in the north end of the county, Hormann,” Neal said. “They have come in and they are ready to get going with building garage doors and shipping them out throughout the United States of North America. It is bringing initially about 200 or 300 jobs to the community.”

Neal replaces commissioner Cain Rogers. Terry Alley was elected to serve as Vice-Chairman and Lanny Selby is the new Parliamentarian.
