A Crossville man suffered serious injuries when a vehicle struck his motorcycle on Highway 127 North Wednesday evening.
The Crossville Police Department said 44-year-old Michael Paul Howard received medical treatment at Erlanger Hospital.
Police cited 20-year-old Justin Lawson of Crossville with failure to use due care and failure to yield.
According to a press release, Lawson failed to yield when his 2017 Ford Fusion crossed over Highway 127 from Matherly Drive. Officials said the Fusion collided with Howard’s 1996 Harley Davidson.
Howard sustained a life-threatening injury to his right leg from the impact. His condition is unknown at this time.
